Los Angeles [US], June 7 (ANI): Singer Charlie Puth has cancelled his upcoming Saturday show in Orlando, Florida, citing health issues.

In his Instagram story, Puth shared the news with fans, adding that he felt heartbroken.

'I am so devastated to do this, but I have to cancel tonight's show. I've been sick for the last few days and am being instructed to rest or else risk cancelling more dates on this tour. Performing for you all each night means everything to me, and you all deserve the best. I'm heartbroken, but I physically am unable to perform. Without a voice, I can't give you guys the show you all deserve,' he wrote.

Puth went on to apologise to his fans, adding that it wasn't an easy decision for him.

'I'm so sorry, this was not an easy decision to make but I hope to see you all soon when I am well again,' he wrote.

A four-time Grammy nominee, Charlie Puth is currently busy with his 'Whatever's Clever!' world tour. It kicked off on April 22 in San Diego and finishes on July 30 in Warsaw, Poland.

He is set to perform across the US on June 9 (Nashville), June 11 (Austin), June 12 (Irving), and June 13 (Houston).

The singer was recently in the headlines over joining an AI-backed music platform 'Moises' as its chief music officer.
